I did a wedding yesterday, and I still haven't caught up on blogging from this last week!

I took pics for this beautiful family last week. Unfortunately, the leaves that had changed had mostly fallen, so some of the trees were bare. Fall never quite lasts long enough! We had fun anyways. I'm realizing how I need to get in shape to chase after my own soon to be toddler! This little boy kept me busy.

This is my favorite time of year for photographs. The colors are at the very best, and the weather is perfect! I've done lots of sessions in the last few days, and I have lots more planned. I think I'll just post some photos from shoots I've done with friends recently. The first ones are from Cantigny in Wheaton. The last ones are from the Birdhaven Greenhouse at Pilcher Park in Joliet. These are officially my top two favorite spots for fall!











Though, I have to laugh that none of these photos were actually taken in the greenhouses. The outdoor garden there is quite beautiful also, and the woods are full of color!

I have to thank my friend Deb for passing along the idea for this photo shoot. It worked out beautifully, and I think it's something I'm going to start offering to clients. My little girl loved the cake (of course) and sat for pictures so well since she was so distracted by the goodies she's never given. I was very happy with the results!
